If I could hold
the rain in my arms
the way that I once held my child
I would not need these poems.
I would just show
love to each and every raindrop.
I would open
my arms to the wet sky.
Thank the sun that shines all day
Thank the clouds that share the rain
Thanks for the plants that grow so tall
Thanks for blessings large and small
We are the beings that share one earth
May we always know life’s worth
And share our love from cradle to grave
May we share all that we save
Thank the stars that shine all night
Thank the moon for that sweet light
May we raise our hands and sing
Thank the universe for everything
All the world is birthday cake, so take a piece, but not too much.
It isn't enough for your heart to break because everybody's heart is broken now.
We all seek happiness, but I believe that we are already surrounded by happiness. The teachings of the Buddha have taught me that everything is neutral and perfect in its own way.
