Forgiveness and such.

I, jobe, hereby forgive

everyone who has ever hurt me,

and likewise, I forgive myself

for my own sins.

A winter afternoon

that feels more like spring.

I’m no Christian, but those who hate

in the name of the Christ?

I find them truly repugnant.

And yet, may they be blessed,

may they be safe and happy.

Even them.

Anger begets more anger, and forgiveness and love lead to more forgiveness and love.
