sweet and tiny moments

to give welcome and praise is the thing

greet the people in your life with an embrace

and likewise

tell everyone goodbye with an embrace

open your heart

like you would open a window on a beautiful day

let in the fresh air

the sound of the wind

the sound of tree branches rubbing together

the sound of dried leaves blowing across the ground

listen harder

from somewhere nearby is the sound of one bird singing

sweet and tiny moments rest

in the quiet corners of being alive

According to Buddhism, there is no one in charge of the universe who distributes rewards and punishments. We create the causes by our actions, and we experience their results.
