It's so important to remember August during February and March. It's how I get by. When I first moved to Mendocino County in 1975, I had two days of that famous beautiful Autumn weather and then it began raining for thirty-three days in a row. I had never experienced anything like it in my Southern Californian life. Now nearly forty-five years later, I rejoice in the rain as I listen carefully to the local public radio station tell me my reservoirs are full. Have a cup of tea with me, James, we will find poetry in the steam! Hello Central California from the mountains overlooking the sea.
